Robert S. Want serves as editor and publisher of WANT Publishing Co. (NationsCourts.com), which focuses on the U.S. judicial system, its federal, state and county courts. The company's print and online services are relied on by attorneys, librarians, paralegals, students and all those with an interest in the nation's courts and how they operate. The company was founded in 1975.

Mr. Want edits both Nation's Courts Directory (print) and Nation's Courts Update (online). The print directory provides comprehensive coverage of the nation's federal, state and county courts, including clerks of court and Web addresses and federal and state court organization charts plus explanatory material on the U.S. court system and its operation. The update service complements the reference material of the print directory, offering current federal judicial nominations and vacancies and judicial confirmations as they occur plus biographical information on U.S. district and appellate judges.

Together, the print and online references offer a unique service -- a comprehensive and regularly updated portrait of the nation's federal, state and county courts.

In addition to his work with NationsCourts.com, Mr. Want has provided legal editing services to a wide range of clients, including  CQ Press (formerly a division of Congressional Quarterly Inc.; now a division of SAGE Publications) and the Center for the Economic Analysis of Law (CEAL).

Prior to starting WANT Publishing, Mr. Want was a Research Associate at the Library of Congress (Congressional Research Service). He has an M.A. degree (Economics) and a J.D. degree, both from George Washington University (Washington, DC).
